Street Scene, Jeypore

A card from Charley Tidy to his aunt, Emma Goodridge. He let her know the price of a lb. of rump steak. Westminster Bridge and the Houses of Parliament, London

How this card arrived in John's collection is a mystery. It was sent to "Alan" who may have been a pupil at The Convent in Highgate Road, London in 1906. What happened to the card after it was delivered to the Convent is not clear and without the original postage stamp it is not known where W.S. sent it from. What is known is that it somehow got from London to Brighton and into John's collect.
