Swan Island, Loch Lomond

Percy wanted to borrow the little van that the Goodridge's used in the business. Another post card in the collection is of vans outside Smithfield Market. Would the van mentioned by Edith have been like these?
Another question that is raised by this message from Edith is where would the Goodridge's have stabled their horse and kept the van? 26, Upper St James Street appears to have been a terraced property. The streets of Brighton website masthead map seems to indicate that these houses had a rear entrance so did they have stabling on site?

The Cricket Ground, Horsham

The message has been signed off with possibly M.T. If so this would have been May Tidy who was one of John's cousins, daughter of Elizabeth Tidy nee Goodridge.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              November 26th 1904 was a Saturday.
