A post card from Annie Lewendon to her Aunt, Elizabeth Povey. Annie appeared to have a close relationship with her Aunt as she by September 1939 she was living with her and running the newsagents shop at 51, George Street. Was she also Elizabeth Povey's carer? Annie was left 51, George Street in her aunt's will and sometime after this moved back to Reading where she died in 1962.

Edith asked about Willie leaving school. William was a cousin of John and Edith being the son of their Uncle Harry.

This post card would seem to suggest that Elizabeth Povey was a regular visitor to her Aunt and Uncle, Matthew and Jane in Brighton. The Uncle who she visited in Newbury was possibly Mark Povey, a brother of her father, Joseph.

Could this be a post card from Elizabeth Povey to her aunt? The post mark appears to be Reading so it is a possibility. A week by the sea in July sounds delightful.
