Great Britain Philatelic Society has records of the great changes in postal charges from Postcards to Special Delivery on the website. the half penny concessionary rate was in operation from 1st October 1870 until 3rd June 1918. the Concession was withdrawn on 15th September 1968 when postcards were included in the letter rates.
