Edith said that she and John visited Iffley Church in August 1899. She would have been 26 that year so did she take her brother on holiday with her. She married Percy King in the third quarter of 1899.

Dear Uncle? As John was aged 13 in September 1903 and his sister, Edith did not have children I think that this card was sent to his Father, also named John. There is no senders name, but the card is postmarked Sutton Courtney. The style of handwriting on some of these cards indicates this one was sent by Fred. 

As he refers to Mr. J. Goodridge as his Uncle a possible avenue of research to discover the connect would be through John's first wife, Sarah Anne Hylden and her family.
