Looking at the people in my grandfather's life in the early 1900's through his Edwardian post card collection.

In Boulter's Lock, Maidenhead.
A postcard from Edith wishing her brother many happy returns for his 14th birthday. He enjoyed a further 76 birthdays in his long and happy life passing away in 1980 aged 90.
This is possibly the last of the Edwardian postcards that John collected between 1903 and 1909. August was the most popular month for sending cards and those posted in 1904 & 1905 make up more than half the collection. As a piece of serendipity the first postcard posted of the collection in May 2017 to Miss Hall has the earliest postmark of 1st June 1903!
