Bonfire Night in Lewes - 1
Lewes is famous for its Bonfire Night celebrations. As November 5th is a Sunday the town's seven Bonfire Societies will take to the streets this evening.
The message on the card says that their Aunties and Jamie visited, I assume that the Aunties were Sarah and Fanny Goodridge, but Jamie is a person to research.
May 16th 1904 was a Monday. Winston Churchhill spoke 4 times during a debate on the 1904 Finance Bill on that day.
