Gale of Eastbourne, Sussex
John had a toothache in November 1903. He lived until he was 90 and still had his own teeth. His second wife, Beatrice remembers a doctor ask John to remove his teeth in the late 1970's, his reply was the will be difficult as they are my own. Another story about John and teeth was that he used to say "that they were trouble when they came and trouble when they left".
The post card is from Raphael Tuck Oilette Rough Seas series.
November 23rd 1903 was a Monday. On that day J.M. Barrie started to write the play that would become Peter Pan.
